Plane camouflage

(picture of a Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter on a reconnaissance mission in north Africa.)

Because of the geographic properties of desert terrains that consist of vast planes covered in sand and lack rough surfaces and natural shelters, covers, & refuges, reconnaissance mission become more efficient and essential in desert warfare. However in order to gather military informations recon planes needed to fly at low altitudes in order to be in sightline what made them vulnerable to enemy fire, in particular the RAF fighter aircrafts that attacked from high altitudes. As a solution the Germans camouflaged there planes in order to be less visible to enemy fighters and to provide more time to perform evasive maneuvers.
