FeldMarschall Erwin Rommel

FeldMarschall Erwin Rommel a.k.a. "Wüstenfuchs" (German for Desert Fox). Rommel was born on the 15th of Nov. 1891 in Heidenfeim, Rommel fought in both World Wars, in WWI he received Prussia's highest medal, Pour le Mérite, as an award for capturing Mount Matajur. Rommel got his nickname "Wüstenfuchs", when he was the commander of the Deutsches Afrika Korps, from his soldiers because his desert tactics made the Axis forces, inferior in numbers and arms, superior. Ultimately, the war in North afrika made of Rommel and his Afrika Korps a legend.
